Etymology 

The Arabic word “جذوري” literal translation is “My roots”. By definition, root means “the part of a plant which attaches it to the ground or to a support, typically underground” or “source, or origin of something”. 

About “Juzoori”

The most innate human emotion is that of attachment to the nation, land and traditions. It is an exponential experience and journey that, with time, becomes filled with visual memories, tastes, music, dialect, proverbs, and many other elements. 

It is what defines the person’s identity. 

Juzoori is a manifestation of connection to one’s culture, heritage, values, and memories. It narrates stories through the designs of accessories inspired by feelings of patriotism and pride of belonging to a country, a history, and a language.

How did it start?

We are 2 entrepreneurs who have a passion for e-commerce coupled with a pierce eye for fashion and creativity. We are originally Lebanese, and have lived in Kuwait for the past two decades. Coming from and living in culturally-rich environments was our main motivation behind launching Juzoori, as a way to celebrate the roots in a fashionable and creative way.
